What to do and see around Men Du beach
Men Du beach is in La Trinité-sur-Mer, an iconic seaside resort in the Morbihan, in southern Brittany. Facing due south, this fine sandy beach delights swimmers at high tide and shore fishers at low tide, when a ridge of sand links the islet of Stuhan to the mainland. It is an ideal starting point for an outing at sea: with our paddle board rental in La Trinité-sur-Mer and our kayak rental at Men Du, you explore the coastline freely, with no booking. Everything is done on site, self-service, with a simple QR code.

The island of Stuhan and the tombolo
Facing the beach, the island of Stuhan is linked to the coast by a sandy tombolo revealed at low tide. A natural spectacle governed by the tides, perfect to watch from the water by paddle board or kayak.

The port of La Trinité-sur-Mer
La Trinité-sur-Mer is home to one of the largest marinas in Brittany, a hub for sailing and offshore racing. Every spring, the Spi Ouest-France regatta brings together hundreds of sailing boats.

The Crac’h river
Spanned by the Kerisper bridge, the Crac’h river offers a superb viewpoint and waters more sheltered than the open sea. It is also an oyster-farming centre renowned for its Morbihan flat oysters.

Carnac and its megaliths
4 km away, Carnac is world-famous for its alignments of standing stones (Le Ménec, Kermario, Kerlescan). The Petit Ménec site is even located in the commune of La Trinité-sur-Mer.

The Quiberon peninsula
To the south, the Quiberon peninsula unfolds its famous Côte Sauvage, where dunes, cliffs and beaches reveal the power of the ocean. A spectacular site for lovers of grand Breton landscapes.

Locmariaquer and the Gulf of Morbihan
At the entrance to the gulf, Locmariaquer is home to a megalithic complex more than 6,000 years old, including the Great Broken Menhir. The Gulf of Morbihan and its small inland sea dotted with islands extend the discovery.

Is the rental suitable for beginners?
Yes, paddleboarding and kayaking are activities open to everyone, including beginners. On calm water and in good weather, you quickly get your bearings in a few minutes. Stay close to the shore and choose a day with little wind for your first outings.
Is there a minimum age?
Rental is not permitted to minors under 18. Before renting, take the time to read the general terms of access and use (CGAU) displayed on site and available on this web page. They set out the age, safety and liability conditions.
How do I take the wind, tides and sea conditions into account?
The station is located on the open sea: always check the weather, the wind direction and the tide times before setting off. Be particularly wary of offshore winds, which push you out to sea and can make getting back difficult. Stay close to the shore, avoid going too far and do not go out if the sea is rough or the wind is strong.
