How to choose your life raft?
The choice between a coastal and an offshore model mainly depends on the sailing area used by your marina’s boaters
Coastal life raft
Designed for coastal sailing. For sailing less than 6 nautical miles from shelter, it is lighter and more compact, with a single floor, a lighter survival pack (water, rations, signalling) and autonomy designed for less than 24 hours. Its inflation system works between 0°C and +65°C
Offshore life raft
Mandatory beyond 6 nautical miles from shelter. More stable and better equipped, it has an insulated double floor that protects against the cold, a reinforced survival pack and inflation that works from -15°C. It is designed to last more than 24 hours.
